Watershed Webs Workshop

The Louisiana Environmental Education Commission is pleased to announce a new professional development workshop for 5th -12th grade teachers in the coastal regions of Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas! Watershed Webs is a four-day professional development workshop to be held June 5-8, 2017 at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Grand Isle Fisheries Research Lab.

Watershed Webs includes 4 days of water education – building awareness of watersheds, emphasizing stewardship, providing data-driven lessons, and so much more. Approximately 32 professional contact hours, over $300 in equipment, & up to $700 in tiered stipends available. We will also assist with & provide funding for your student field experiences.
