Teaching Sustainable Forestry in Environmental Education
Spend five days touring the forests of Louisiana!

You will meet experts from varies natural resource fields during your stay. You will be provided an extraordinary look into forestry management, forest products production, and wildlife conservation.

The tour includes visits to private and public forest lands, lumber and other wood product mills.

The tour is limited to 35 participants.

Each participant will earn 30 CLUs.

All lodging, meals, materials and transportation during the tour are provided FREE by the sponsors of the Teacher’s Tour.

Each teacher will attain certification in Project Learning Tree, Project Wet and Project Wild.

These are nationally recognized environmental education programs.

You will meet educators from throughout the state and create lasting friendships.
