The National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), in collaboration with the Association of Science-Technology Centers, released their inaugural issue of Connected Science Learning: Linking In-School and Out-of-School STEM Learning, accessible at csl.nsta.org.
STEM educators, both in and outside the classroom, are seeking new ways to connect students to these 21stcentury topics. The first issue of Connected Science Learning highlights several innovative programs from around the country, which emphasize the need to move from thinking about STEM education in siloed spaces to thinking of all learning as interdependent and linked.
The second pilot issue will be delivered later this year, in fall 2016. To receive the second free pilot issue, which will be delivered later this year, please subscribe here.
